Solar Siren For UltraPIR & BT PIR Wireless Alarms
- Unique Solar Powered Wireless Siren & Strobe, with built in 130 Decibel Siren, Flashing Strobe & Tamper Switch, for use with the BT PIR & UltraPIR Wireless Alarms.
The Siren works in conjunction with both our:
- BT PIR (part number 007-0200) from 50 metre.
- 2G UltraPIR (part number 007-0360) from 50 metres away.
- 3G UltraPIR (part number 007-1150) from 100 metres away.
- This allows you to install the Siren into the most suitable location, it also doubles up as a visual deterrent.
It can be used in 2 ways:
- Solar Siren: when mounted in a location open to daylight, it can be used with its built in re-chargeable Lithium Battery, which is charged & maintained by the built in Solar Siren.
- Battery Siren: when used in a very sheltered location with minimal access to daylight, it can be used with standard AA Batteries, but the batteries would have to be replaced more often (9 – 12 months normal use).
- The External Siren is fully weatherproof and has a rapid flashing strobe lights during activation.
- The Siren has also been designed to activate 15 seconds after the PIR or UltraPIR Siren has been activated, this unique feature creates a double shock to an intruder.
- This is a great addition to our Wireless BT PIR Alarm & UltraPIR GSM Alarms and often also be used in conjunction with our Wireless Internal Siren (part number 007-0230).
- We strongly recommend that at least one additional Siren is used with these Alarm Systems, ideally both.
Typical uses would be:
- Sheds & Garden Offices (fitted onto the same building, on a building next door or on the back of the adjacent house).
- Garage (same as the shed).
- Caravan (fitted onto an adjacent building when the caravan is being stored).
- Static Caravans, Park Homes & Log Cabins (fitted onto the in a visible location).
- Narrow Boats (fitted onto the outside in a visible location).
